| ECP summons Imran over alleged misappropriation of PTI funds |
|
In a first case of its kind, the election authorities have summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to explain his position over a complaint regarding the misuse of party funds. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued notices to Imran and secretary general Jahangir Tareen on a petition filed by Akbar S Babar, who had alleged that PTI leadership misused funds.
