| Election tribunal disqualifies PTI MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz |
|
An election tribunal, disqualified Rai Hassan Nawaz as member of the National Assembly over concealment of assets in the nomination papers. Hassan Nawaz was elected MNA from NA-162 (Sahiwal-III) constituency on a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket in the 2013 general elections. The election tribunal has ordered re-election in the constituency.
