Sardar Ayaz & Shafqat Mahmood battle for post of NA spea
Voting for the coveted office of National Assembly (NA) speaker is currently underway at Parliament House. Ahead of voting, Acting Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi announced the assembly had initially received three nominations, but MNA Ghazi Ghulab Jamal withdrew his candidature leaving the competition between PML-N’s Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and PTI’s Shafqat Mahmood.
