| COAS Raheel Sharif in US amid anti-terror mood across world |

Pakistan's army chief Raheel Sharif, effectively the country's ruler, arrived here uninvited on a five-day visit amid a worldwide revulsion against terrorism, which his country has often been accused of using for policy ends. General Sharif's visit comes only three weeks after Pakistan's nominal head of government, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, meet President Obama at the White House.
