| MQM’s Waseem challaned for hate speech, inciting violence |
|
Police filed an interim challan with an anti-terrorism court (ATC) against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem AKhter for inciting violence through his hate speech. Officials of the Superhighway police station produced the interim challan before sitting ATC administrative judge Hasan Azhar Rizvi. In the challan, the accused has been declared as absconder under Section 512 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) despite his publicly movements. The judge however directed the police officials to submit the final challan within 15 days.
