Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi was declared man of the match for his brilliant all round performance in the first T20 match against New Zealand Cricket Team. Shahif Afridi made 23 runs in just 8 balls he faced. Shahid Afridi bowled a two-wicket maiden to finish with 2 for 26 to go with three catches.
