| Apna Dal snaps political ties with Bharatiya Janata Party |
|
Lasting for almost two years, the political honeymoon of Bharatiya Janata Party and Apna Dal ended in a divorce on Thursday with Apna Dal formally snapping its ties with the BJP. A decision to this effect was arrived at the national executive meet of Apna Dal, which was held in Lucknow. Apna Dal also accused the BJP of resorting to divide and rule policy.
