The intra-party squabbles in the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh is keeping the BJP leadership on the toes as the saffron party feels a weakened SP can pit it in a direct contest with Bahujan Samaj Party, a situation which may dent its prospects in assembly polls due early next year.
