| Congress & BJP lock horns in last attempt to woo voters |
|
A war of words ensued between BJP and Congress as election campaigning drew to a close. On sunday 230 talukas, 31 district panchayats and 56 municipalities will go to polls. Congress accused the state government of being ignorant towards constitutional rights of dalits, tribals and other backward communities. The party alleged that the BJP has a partisan attitude towards industrialists while it levies high taxes on the middle class.
