| PPP to nominate Raza Rabbani as Senate chairman |

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has nominated Raza Rabbani as the party’s candidate for the position of Senate chairman. PPP leaders Raza Rabbani and Qayyum Soomro meet Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Abdul Ghaffoor Haidri, and offered the JUI-F the position of Senate deputy chairman .
