| PTI hopes for third wicket with tribunal decision on NA-154 |
|
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was hoping to secure a third wicket with the election tribunal set to announce its verdict on alleged rigging in NA-154 constituency of Lodhran. Independent candidate Siddique Khan Baloch had won the elections by obtaining 86,177 votes in the general elections while PTI candidate Jehangir Khan Tareen bagged 75,955 votes. Later, the winning candidate joined the PML-N.
