| Violence-marred local gov polls leave 9 dead across KPK |
|
Polling in the violence-marred local government elections came to a close at 5 pm across polling stations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. As many as nine people were killed and over 30 had been injured during clashes in the province. According to the sources, the polls started at 8 am and even though strict security measures were taken, the polling process was delayed severely as people took too long to vote.
